Photo Manager Pro App Reviews

Good but...

Does not recognize Apples new "Favorites" folder. Very frustrating as these are the only photos I want to import. Also the camera roll folder is reversed - way at the bottom. That is the main folder I want to get into generally. Second only to the Favorites folder. This used to be a favorite but Im growing tired of these limitations.

Great app. Crop issues.

Even valuing my time at minimum wage, this app is worth ten times the money I paid. I share only through iTunes through USB connection; works fine. Reliable except for cropping. Cropping from the top usually doesnt work at all on my phone 5, and cropping from the left often hangs the application and loses some previous crops. The only feature I miss is attributes, a generalization of Favorites. I would rather assign and view by attribute rather that copy images to additional folders for those attributes.

Pain

Its a pain to export and import. But mostly Im irritated that I have no way of opening a locked file even though the password is correct. Ive emailed three times for help with no reply.

Awful!!!

This app doesnt access all the photos from my photo library, only those most recent. What a garbage!

Good but limited by island-orientation

Anyone find a worthy replacement yet? ---- Shame this dev is wedded to the previous century. Only way to "transfer" requires a desktop/laptop - something I visit only for footnote-heavy docs creation. Good app generally speaking, but photos resultantly live within an island. No DropBox support. No sync with iCloud. So you choose one mobile device, period. If anyone finds a replacement more cognizant of modern day needs, please note it here.

Porential

This app has major potential but many pieces do not work especially attaching an image to a message. I have contacted them seven or eight times over the last two months with no response. The app should be taken down if theyre not going to keep it updated.

Good, but Crop function freezes/crashes app

Seriously, been a customer for years now. Need that function back, guys. Thanks.

Great but needs Gif support

I used this app to organize all my photos and it works perfectly. Except for the no gif support.

Absolutely First Rate

This is one of the best apps Ive ever seen. It does all you need to do-- and more-- to manage thousands of photos. Folders within folders is what most apps lack. One feature I especially like is the decoy password. It allows a read only view of your folders and shots so that when you show them to Aunt Minnie, she cannot accidentally delete or rearrange things. You use a master password when you want to do editing, adding, or deleting. The guy who wrote this one is a genius.

Doesnt always transfer

Ive finally organized Dropbox as my photo album. This app was great when I thought everything had synced across my devices. Everything appeared to have transferred and I bought both new iPhone and iPad. I set up both devices, opened up this app and found approximately a third of the photos Id stored in PhotoMgrPro. Id lost several hundred photos, and some had been taken years back; theyd not been backed up to any cloud server but this app. The instructions were straightforward and Im fairly tech savvy. I was physically ill. Its a great app for storing pictures on a device, but you cant count on all (or any) pictures transferring. I talked to a senior tech at Apple, and he found the partial photo transfer to be equally vexing. There were no wifi issues, and I followed what appeared to be very easy instructions. Unfortunately, a glitch occurred and Ive lost photos I can never recover. If this is your only organized album, Id definitely recommend organizing albums in your cloud server of choice. Dont take the risk, only to find that your pictures are gone.

100% useless piece of garbage. Dont waste $3.

The transfer features are 100% broken. They dont work at all. Either the app quits, or freezes when you try to transfer. Everything else it does, the native photos app does. What did I just spend $3 on? Nothing.

Best Ever Photo Organizer

How anyone could give this app less than five is beyond my understanding. Lets assume its the pros that are that particular. If youre an above average picture saver or less, believe me, this is the photo organizer app for you.

Good, could be better

Far better than the lousy photo album manager that comes with the ipad2. But at least on that it responds to my touch on the first try. For some reason Photo Manager Pro takes two or three solid brushes with my finger to get it to scroll half the time. Really annoying. Another peeve, and Ive written them twice to try to get it in, is there is no "flip" photo edit function. Thats so basic, why isnt it in there-if you can rotate or crop one why cant you flip one? I had to download a special app to do this. This app could use a little more functionality for photo manipulation.

Could be better but is very good.

Search engine: needs to include file names not just photo names. Searching by photo names is useless since they are numbered and not titled. Back up system using i-FunBox is messy. i-FunBox does not recognize this iPhone 6 running 8.4.1 but recognizes my iPad Air with 8.1.4. Good news, iTunes backed up the program and fully reinstalled it and all the pictures in their files after total reset of this iPhone. That said it is easy to use, fast and a great program that holds 22,000 photos in my iPhone. It could be better, but 5 stars are still in order

Good but...

I like this app but it has one blaring problem. I have over 1000 photos in my camera roll and when I want to import photos it only sees around 300.

Exactly what I needed

This app lets you transfer images from your computer to your iPad or iPhone and keep the directory structure you have on the computer. Using FTP, it is FAST! The images are kept in the app and do not show up in the camera roll, another great feature. You can tell it not to back up your photos, which is just what I wanted, as they are already on the computer anyway. Start mirroring the iPad screen to your big-screen TV, and you can look at your photos there, while flipping through them with your finger on the iPad. The latency is minimal - a second or less. The only negative I can mention is that tech support does not answer questions, but there are FAQs on the website..

Very good

This app has most everything I want. Drag to sort photos. Transfer photos from computer. Folders. No password needed. Only problem is a glitch when cropping. Often the app freezes. Must shutdown and restart. Hope this will be fixed.

It does not play slideshow on Apple TV

This is a very nice and functional application. It would be far better if a slideshow can play on my big screen with Apple TV. The Mirror function works but the photos are not full screen and is limited to the IPAD format. Please fix this for 5 stars

I dont care...

I careless if who ever its behind watching every photo I post , there is nothing for me to hide... I love this app. I just wish that I had the same app for my Mac instead of having it in Safari... However these five stars wont last three months if you guys dont harry up and make an app for the Mac App Store. so whats it going to be? I know you guys can do this and when you do , dont forget to send me the Mac application first. Through notification or an email, but please do. ... Okay I kept my word, stars had faded , until Theres an app for the Mac App Store

I really wanted to like this app

I have had this app for a year now. Backup and Restores do not work as documented using I-FunBox. I have written several emails to the support email address; but, like most un-vetted foreign programmers of Asian affluence, support is not in their vocabulary. I really wanted to like this app; but without a method of backup of the entire app as opposed to uploading individual pictures and loosing folders, I have decided to write it off as a loss and will definitely not recommend the app to anyone.
