Photo Manager Pro App Reviews

let me name my files

All text anyplace should be selectable and copyable. All files should allow naming and placing and saving as i wish.

Waste money no dev reply

Dev doesnt reply to email requests for support. Browse thousands of photos from the iPhone gallery to sort into groups, when adding new pics to same folder, the app lists the pics I already have, so I have to browse through the same thousands of pics Again! Not smart programming. Makes me want to start writing software people can use.

Outstanding photo organizer

This app is excellent for organizing and transfering pictures to an iPad. It easily allows you to organize and sort your images and the transfer process from the PC to iPad is much easier using this app than through iTunes.

Awesome photo organizer

I had all my photos organized on my mac by event. When iOS 8 came out it would no longer sort my events in the same order that I had them on my mac. I have over 10,000 photos in 500 events. It was impossible to find any photos anymore. With photo manager pro I was able to organize my photos better then on my mac. I can have sub folders in folders. I love it. It is like using windows explorer to organize my files.

Lame, same crap as MyPhoto - AVOID

This is a COMPLETE duplicate of their other app MyPhoto. In fact, its worse. RIPOFF. AVOID this like the plague or you will be writing this same review AND be out of $3.

Photo manager pro

GREAT GREAT GREAT APP!!!!! Been using it for years and have NEVERTHELESS had a problem. So simple to use. TRY IT YOU WILL LOVE IT! MEANT NEVER HAD A PROBLEM

Syncing does not work

P2P syncing between devices does not work, and online help documentation does not correspond to the views/commands on the actual app. I have been unable to sync my Photo Manager Pro library between my iPhone and my iPad, nor have I been able to sync it with my iCloud account. Another fustration is the inability to share an entire folder; only able to share individual photos which is a pain if you have many photos to share. Overall, just a so so app.

Excellent for my needs

Disclaimer: I do not use iCloud to sink photos. I’m a pro photographer who uploads finished, retouched images to my iPad to show clients and potential clients. For this purpose, this is a great app: It is easy to use and intuitive. I went to it when the native iPad photo app started refusing to accept some images (for reasons I still have not figured out). This app has no problem with it. Main improvement I would like to see is the ability to sort each gallery independently and manually. But the sort options I have now are workable.

Not what I thought I was paying for...

I have had to downgrade this app for the following reasons: 1) the help screens are seriously out of date in regards to iTunes to the point of being useless 2) their "support" is entirely unresponsive on the multiple issues I have reported to them. I mean, no response at all.. 3) no upgrades forever - is this app abandoned? I mean, no support and no upgrades...maybe?

Awesome

This the the perfect app to organize your pictures!

Was great

Now when downloading pics, all are imported BUT some show as black screen in full screen mode,u can see them as thumbnails. Tried different mb sizes, still doesnt work. Have used for a couple years, but if not fixed will have to look for other organizer.

Still the best one

If youve got tons of photos like me you know how messy Apple photo app is. But this one is still the best to keep photos organized. Makes it easy to manipulate images between folders and backup to laptop (complete backup via cord; by folder or by image via FTP). The only thing Id like to change is interface design to be more ios 7 style.

This is a great app for photographers !!!

P2P transfer works well ,you have to be on wifi and the source device has to locate your receiving devices sort of like Bluetooth . From your source device you have to select a folder then go to edit and then select the photos or photo and then hit transfer . I use this for saving my photos for different poses for my clients to see, transferring this between iPhone and iPad was easy .

Simply the best

This app is worth the buy. Do not hesitate to purchase. The ipad and iphone Apple Photos app to me just is so rudimentary when it comes to managing photos. Photo Manager Pro does it fantastically well. With icloud sync I know I will retrieve my photos during a device reset. I lost my photos after needing to reset my ipad even after icloud backup. Why does Apple only scratch the surface in terms of app development then force you to accept their thought processes of the app?

TOUCH ID

ADD TOUCH ID LOCKING AND THIS WILL BE THE BEST

Great app but sync iPhone to IPad missing

They suggest some "backup one device and restore to the other device" methods (that is not syncing?) but even those never work. It is best I have found but i would stick with clumsy iCloud till they solve in future version. Hopefully next version will look more polished or professional. Current looks like a kids game graphics.

Cant even display a gif

Cant even display a .gif I wish you could give negative stars.

File Naming!

I have been looking for an easy way to give my photos a file name easily & this is it! So easy to load photos from my camera roll, even in batches, and to their own file. Rename them with a click & then save them to my Dropbox. Just got this, but so far, so great!

Nag

Heres your 1-star rating for nagging me 3 or 4 times to rate this thing in one day! Enjoy.

Horrible GB hog!

Putting my photos and videos in this app at least doubled them in size. And thats after I removed the originals from my camera roll! Whatever size is a picture, it seems like it doubles and triples in the app. Somehow overnight my 64GB iPad ended up with a few Mb memory, holding everything else constant. Deleted the app immediately. Terrible.
